We are pleased to welcome Registered Dietitian Nutritionist , Kayla Kirschner to the William Paterson University community. In her role as Clinical Dietitian, Kayla will support William Paterson Dining by providing dietary counsel for students and staff, along with hosting sampling events on campus with nutritional handouts and information.

Prior to joining Aramark, Kayla served as a Wellness Dietician for Lenox Hill Hospital where she lead patient improvement projects including seasonal menu updates and nutrient analysis, CBORD compliance, monthly host trainings, and IDDSI diet transition. She also managed and supported monthly chef tables and assisted in the development of a Teaching Kitchen, aimed at giving guests firsthand information on ingredient and techniques.

Executive Chef Brian DuHart, culinary arts graduate, worked for Hyatt, Hilton and Four Seasons Hotels in NYC. Division chef for Aramark, facilitating corporate dining facilities as well as culinary programs at various Universities in the tristate area.

This Fall semester will bring exciting new menu items to our retail location, Ignite, such as and Buffalo Chicken Sandwiches and Sausage and Peppers. Also, spice up your breakfast with our new Chorizo Breakfast burrito. We will be featuring new Meal Exchange options bi-weekly at all locations!

In addition, Wayne Dining Hall will continue to serve a variety of diverse menu items and options. If you are Vegan, Vegetarian or Gluten sensitive, make sure to ask for one of our Culinary Chefs or Dietitian, Kayla Kirschner, and we would be pleased to accommodate your specific dietary needs.
